We believe AI represents one of the most transformative creative tools in human history, expanding imagination, accelerating possibility, and reshaping how ideas come to life.

But with that power comes responsibility.

When audiences no longer know what’s real, trust becomes the new creative currency.

By joining Opentag AI, each member pledges to:

  1. Be transparent about when and how AI is used in their work, communications, or creative processes.

  2. Use AI responsibly, as a means of enhancement — never deception.

  3. Respect the human element at the core of creativity, collaboration, and truth.

  4. Champion clarity and accountability within their community, industry, and networks.

  5. Evolve with integrity as technology and standards continue to change.

Accountability:
Members understand that misuse of the mark – including false or misleading representation, or use outside the terms of the pledge – may result in the immediate withdrawal of membership and the right to display the mark.

In extreme or deliberate cases of misuse, Opentag reserves the right to pursue legal action under applicable trademark and fair-usage law.

The Opentag mark and associated visual marks are currently protected under common-law trademark (™), with formal registration (®) to follow as adoption grows.
